Only reason Winn is playing is to hopefully win a Gold Glove. His hitting is non existent! Unless you like K’s and pop ups!

4.65 ERA. They’ve scored runs for him. It won’t last.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 19:37 pmThey said The team was 10-3 in his starts coming into the game so he’s been doing something rightcbcardsfan wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 19:35 pm Just another worthless pitcher from the system. Rotation and lineup a joke. Time to watch something else. You suck Mo.

The best player for 2026 may well be our No.1 prospect..JJJoseph-Magrane wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 19:34 pm At least we have… well we have almost literally nothing going into 2026
Soft rebuild has yielded maybe Herrera as the lone bright spot with Donovan who we knew.
That’s absolutely all they have
He has a shot at being more productive than any hitter on the 2025 team .
Sad to say that a rookie may be our best hitter but it could prove true for this team.

10-3 makes sense. He’s so good he’s done that in 9 starts this season.cbcardsfan wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 19:39 pm4.65 ERA. They’ve scored runs for him. Re: Pirates at Cards 8/25/2025
Cardinals might hit better if they’d just try swinging at strikes! Just a suggestion.

Fun stat....Burley has 3 XBH this month...1 double, 1 Triple, 1 HR. 20 singles in August.
Power Zapped. He's going to have a good avg for the month, but a .670ish OPS
Can't have that in the middle of the order.
If we can get better players next year, I'd like to see Burley 6th or 7th in the lineup. If we don't, I'll know we aren't contending

I know I saw that also what was Brad talking about? Maybe he meant his whole career but I don’t think he even has that many starts his entire careerAbsolut wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 19:41 pm10-3 makes sense. Perfect capsule of Cardinals’ offense. Bases loaded, nobody out. One run via sacrifice fly.

Looks like they are all trying to hit a five run home run instead of hitting where it is pitched.

Pozo has had his moments, and it’s a nice human story, but my gosh he swings at every pitch thrown at him and Vlad Guerrero he’s not!
I’m with you, bring up the kids, if nothing else the defense will be stronger.
