Average and should have been replaced a few years ago.

Great start with the moves that helped lead to the 2011 WS championship, but several poor decisions over the last years have resulted in a disfunctional franchise.

An arrogant snob with a very punchable face!... and just look at the roster and the fans response!

My gosh, that is 15 years ago. Cranny will like that comment since he lives in the past.

He was Executive of the Year, trading Colby Rasmus for a lot of contributors for the Championship. 15 years ago. Any predictions on whether the Cardinals win another WS in the next 15 years? The overall economics of the sport and how the Cardinals have dealt with it discourage me. Fan since 1968 here.

What difference does it make what we think his legacy will be. Just give him his red jacket and let’s move on.

The brilliant branding I applied long ago does so with perfection.

Failure

He left the franchise in worst shape than when he found it in 15 years

This years roster was a farce

Once again, Who won that Liberatore - Arozarena trade? Today's game once again closes that case. That early season feel good talk was totally bogus

As a coat-tail rider and the architect of an era of ineptitude. All his success came immediately after inheriting a strong organization and he turned it to [shirt].

Someone mentioned the Rasmus trade….no way he does that without TLR forcing the issue. Mo falls in love with bad draft picks and players and couldn’t pick a manager to save his life. The two “better” ones he had, he fired, then doubled down on Oli.

He basically could’ve done the opposite of every instinct and thought that crossed his mind and ended up better off.

Says an 80 year old who likes to talk about all the old time players he met at card shows?

Once TLR, Duncan, and Luhnow left, Johnny boy wasn't able to replace the main core of players that had won. When left to his own roster building abilities, this organization fell off a cliff. Not one current player listed in MLB's top 100. A manager who opposing player cannot name. And a fan base that has stopped churning the turnstile.

Johnny jackass sure screwed up a regional treasure. Hopefully, Bloom can repair some of the damage. But it may take years.

Mozeliak served as the Cardinals' scouting director during 1999-2000, overseeing 2 draft classes that included future stars like

101.2 bWAR Albert Pujols
41.6 bWAR Yadier Molina
28.9 bWAR Coco Crisp

2.8 bWAR Chris Duncan
1.7 bWAR Mike Crudale
1.1 bWAR Bo Hart
0.6 bWAR Chris Narveson
0.4 bWAR Tyler Johnson
0.2 bWAR Ben Johnson

Lots of fans went cuckoo for at least one of these players.
