Re: Gretzky Bobblehead Giveaway
Gretzky is all Army's fault.
And for the record, Fowler did not play 1,000 games for Anaheim. When Fowler accomplished the feat of playing his 1,000th NHL game he was playing for the St. Louis Blues in a St Louis Blues uniform. That's what the celebration was about. He could have taken a puck to the head, or had a heart attack and never achieved it.
You really must SMELL awful.

Oooh, I love me an egg on a burger, maybe add some bacon also and I’m in! Red Robin has a really good burger like that.Nublues69 wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025 07:50 amI wonder what a great one menu would look like for a resturant.... Have to have the great one burger - double cheeseburger pepperjack cheese and 1 egg on a great bun....a smell of green grass wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025 15:10 pm This is sad and irritating, worse than last year's 1000-game ceremonies.
I guess it will make the fans forget that there is no Gretzky on the ice, and never will be.
Anyone else wanna add to the menu

Angry about a free giveaway at a game you may or may not go to. Isn’t there a neighborhood kid on a stoop you can yell at?

This thread is funny. Blues plan on honoring a former player of the org, the best player to ever do it in the sport, has a hockey game named after him, has family in the area, stays loosely involved with the org. But time to get upset. Only 4 orgs in hockey get to say the great one played for their team. Milk that thing all the way you can.

The occasional 5-10 minute ceremonies really rubs you the wrong way that much huh? Yet you can find way more than 5-10 minutes to complain about it online. Interesting.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025 20:22 pmYou go ahead a celebrate those 1000 games that Fowler played in Anaheim. Gretzky went before the #1 pick. He was a 0.5. Everyone knew that he would be great when he was 10.Backesdraft wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025 14:19 pmAnd a new entry for post of the year emerges. No. Actually he was signed as a UFA by a WHA team at 17 years old. (Indy I believe) then he was sold to Edm as Indy was about to fold. Then Edm became part of NHLa smell of green grass wrote: ↑22 Aug 2025 14:11 pmGretzky went before the #1 pick. He was a 0.5.
