An early start hopefully curtails the late night stuff. But if they wanted lunch and a couple afternoon beers I'd recommend The Pressbox, or Anchor Bar where Baker Mayfield and his lineman go.

That the Rays had to exchange a Saturday date for a game for a Thursday game because of a preseason NFL game tells you all you need to know about MLB in Florida. It's not even 2nd fiddle, it's like 10th fiddle. Yet MLB continues to keep 2 teams in a state that doesn't give a shiite.

And please don't tell me about market sizes. That doesn't matter when those markets don't care about MLB.

There’s some fools in Tampa
Florida …..all about football

Every team, pro and college draws well

30k for the high school championship game

Baseball is something to pass the time between football playoffs and football opening day…
The TV news covers high school football like it was the NFL.
