No Rainiel.... but we get a Cameron Nickens debut.... Austin Peay State, 2025, 17th Round pick

he bopped 18 HR for APSU this year, while batting .422 ....he played for Houston 3 years before....only managed 11 HR collectively.

definitely was a step down in competition.

JonJon Gazdar is an APSU alum....2024 draft....and so far this year, he hasn't lived up at all to his 2024 College power numbers....only 1 HR. Though he has hit a lot of singles for Peoria. Good batting average...until last week. He's down to .279

thx Duce

after the draft, there was a guy on I think it was MLBN who was asked who he thought might be a real sleeper in the Cards draft and he said Nickens.

we'll see...APSU usually has 2-4 players in every offensive Top 10 stat....but again, the competition they face is the bottom of the barrel. I'm rooting for him. Lord knows we need power bats....but I honestly don't think he's a power bat.

I really like Dattalo for power

he's (Bay) is a bopper.....slugging .571 in 42 AB since late July

Always appreciate the links and all the great work you do here Crav.
Nice to see Baez doesn't need the perfect launch angle to get it out of the park.
