Armstrong

Post by theograce »

Guy has his warts. Not the best communicator. His emotions can impact decision making (like it does for many).

Made some mistakes in decision making re:personnel following the Cup. Worst of all for me is he treated some people very poorly and unethically as a manager. I don’t like that so much.

But he really appears to be self-reflective and has owned some of his mistakes and has the ability to shift as the game shifts.

He shifted away from mindset of small, puck moving d-men which is nice, because many people got caught up in that illusionary trend.

He’s done some nice work lately imo, and for the first time in a while I’m excited to watch the team and the beginning of a new foundation.

What happened to the best young prospect to come along in a long while?

Bolduc got traded to fill the same pothole that Army has been trying to fill for 6 years.

In regards to what name and number to put on your new Blues jersey, I'd recommend "Trade Bait". He's the best player on our team.

LOL. . . Bolduc? Dude's not even a top 5 pick. Raise your standards.

I agree generally with your critique but I especially appreciate this part. I don't know that he's always ahead of the curve but there have been key times he has been, to the Blues' benefit.

Part of it being age/experience I’m sure. Doesn’t hurt having guys like Hitchcock to consult with on the daily either.

Aesa I have a pup at home and he follows me everywhere. Of course, he's only 6 months old and needy.

Banned guy hated this team last year....running his mouth dozens of times lashing out how bad they were....."haven't watched then for 20 games"...."this team is bad"..."DA bad" .....yet somehow now....he likes them all. Everything is kosher cool. Basically the same team and GM he gave up on but now it's all looking good. We are all supposed to forget as he makes the jump on the bandwagon.

And best part....if you mention "clown" or "wet noodle" ....he knows it's him.

Count down now....3....2....1.....he can't help himself........
