I get it, some fans are so desperate for a "star" Cardinal player.

But other than his great defense M. Winn isn't a star player.

We point this out and all of a sudden we're "Winn haters" when nothing could be further from the truth.

You may very well be right-he's not a star-yet. I think he’s the best player on the team. ( my opinion) That doesn’t make him a star. If he finds more consistency at the plate its a different conversation. People forget he's only 23. His defense is already elite. Still time.

Until JJW gets here Winn is the Cardinals best all round player w/elite defense but a "meh" bat, JJW is the one who has the best shot at being an all-star.
