Guys, Walker and his .269 avg and ONE HR is “heated up” since July 1

Admittedly, I don't watch a lot of the games these days, but nonetheless, I can't remember the last time I saw Walker square up a fastball. Got to be one of the worst fastball hitters I've ever seen.

Nice to see the Cards fight back and tie at least.
Now if we can avoid another bullpen kaboom we might have a chance to salvage a game.
go cards

...Gameday has his AVG. at .229... He'd LIKE to have a .269...Joseph-Magrane wrote: ↑17 Aug 2025 15:10 pm Guys, Walker and his .269 avg and ONE HR is “heated up” since July 1

Oli goes back to Leahy even though he got clobbered just yesterday - did not record an out......and Goldy greets him with a lead off oppo base hit.

If Herrera's power outage persists the Cards could end the year with no regular above an .800 OPS. And no starter below a 4 ERA.Francis Park Thug wrote: ↑17 Aug 2025 15:10 pmIt hasn't clicked for him in about 2 months.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑17 Aug 2025 15:02 pmjust missing squaring up the ball.. hopefully it starts clicking for him again

Leahy escapes the 6th with a DP and a K. Good job!

Leahy needs to throw more fastballs like that last ones. Seem to his his off speed stuff.
