Go to Memphis and watch the Redbirds.

Problem solved.

He moved the first place brewers further into first place. I think you’re comparing completely different ships and bringing up a Will Clarkesque anomaly.

They were 50-40 and 4 games back when he debuted with them on July 7th.

They’re 28-4 since then.

I’m not comparing anything, was just pointing out a funny case where it seems that one guy completely righted his own ship and the Brewers have been an absolute unit since they called him up.

Let the get get to know his teammates, the city, find a place to live, learn big league travel, the media, ect...........

Like M. Winn, it will give him a HUGE leg up in 2026 when he's the starting 2nd baseman.
Exactly. These people are humans they need time to adjust.

So simple

Take it from M. Winn himself:

Masyn Winn, a leading candidate to win the National League’s Gold Glove award at shortstop in 2025, was promoted from Triple-A Memphis to the Cardinals on Aug. 18, 2023, and he raved about how the experience helped him get better prepared for his full rookie season in 2024. - J. Denton

1. We arent winning anything this year.
2. I doubt jj can hit mlb pitching much better than them yet. Gorman and burleson and others crushed AAA to hit a wall up here.
3. Stop rushing prospects with hype. Walker was hyped gorman was hyped carlson was hyped. Hype doesnt = results. Develop players properly

Wetherholt isn't coming up. The Cardinals have a bad 40-man roster crunch this offseason and really don't have room. Sure we could trade players but none of the guys that need protecting are
guys you would want to trade. We have 8 guys that have to be protected like Church, Baez, Mautz, Rajcic, Bernal, Jordan, Crooks and Hjerpe. They are probably the only urgent guys to keep but there are a few others that might be at risk.

IF JJW was up and playing 3B last night, does he make the play Gorman couldn't?
It may be we're missing more than Wetherholt's bat but his glove also.
Gorman can DH, which looks to be his only decent current fit.

Ok. I guess anomalies happen. If I was a betting man, I’d bet heavily against jj changing the trajectory of the 2025 cardinals.

Did you know that if you put a good apple in a basket with rotten apples that the good apple also becomes rotten?

He should not be on this team this year
