Back in the game?

Post by janb526 »

Gorman hits a two-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth to get back in the game. Then, our brilliant manager leaves Munoz (who would be on no other big-league roster) in the game to get shelled. The guy can't throw strikes, falls behind every hitter and eventually throws one right down the middle. There is plenty of posters on this forum they don't hold Marmol accountable, but he is personally responsible for more losses than any other manager in baseball. Easily over 10 losses a season.

Mozeliak said at his last extension he didn't want Oli to feel pressure to win. What does that tell you??

It definitely shows he’s under no pressure to win

Alcala for one. He pitched last night but did not throw many pitches. Leahy put us on the spot or Pages who kept calling breaking balls from Leahy that got hammered every time.

Season has been over for a long time, probably better to keep losing so they can get rid of our manager and start fresh next year or after the work stoppage in 2027
