In my opinion, Lion's Choice is the BEST fast food ever. 5 Guys became a fav until they closed the downtown Lincoln location, same with Jersey Mike's, which also closed their downtown location. Covid really wreaked havoc on the restaurant industry.

They used to be my go to for a reasonably priced and relatively healthy meal but they ditched the little things that made them special - I think they only have one soup for the entire year, no more limited time specials like mushroom/swiss and they stopped selling their meats by the pound. It's been a while....I'm down on them.

The one thing that makes them special in my book is that they do one thing great, make a simple good cheap 'french dip' style sandwich with the best fries in town. If you need gimmicks and rotating soups go to panera. Meats by the pound? Ever heard of a deli?

Some locations seem to be hit and miss, but it's quality fast food, in my opinion.
