Hah! Exactly what I was gonna say.

Should have played football, Jordan. And again, shouldn't have been rushed into MLB. Still only 23, should be in AAA until he can hit like Wetherholt down there.

Then again, though, it's not like he couldn't hit MLB pitching his rookie year. Cards F'd him up, baaad.

Two of them scored and the Cards go into the ninth trailing 4-3.

The Yanks have made a lot of mistakes but the Cardinals have managed to match them and still stay behind.
Lost the game because we were either too afraid or unable to throw a strike to a slumping team.

Beat ourselves so they did not have to beat us. This team has talent but not the ability to apply it.

They have the makings of a good bullpen next season but no middle of the order of the bats and a terrible rotation will kill them

If Pozo would have reached in 9th there was no pinch runner available

Moot point now, just sayin Oli is overmatched in dugout

If Gorman doubles in the 8th with Herrera on 1st and he doesn't score the tying run, you're berating Oli for not pinch running for Herrera.

Are you saying Hampson should not have run for Herrera in the 8th because he potentially could have been used to run for a pinch hitter in the next inning IF he got a hit?

That was my thought. We don’t have any pitchers athletic and fast enough to run the basepaths? They used to do that decades ago
