Who would you rather see?
Would you rather see Hampson on the team, a proven failure with a sub .200 lifetime average or a journeyman minor leaguer within the organization? Why not bring up a guy that has no real future in the majors, that spent his time in the organization? Why a garbage player from a different organization? It’s insulting to watch.

Fermin might fit the description and he was bought from Cleveland.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2025 22:36 pm Would you rather see Hampson on the team, a proven failure with a sub .200 lifetime average or a journeyman minor leaguer within the organization? He is performing well, Saggese is taking his spot. not Hampson.
Koperniak has had a down season. He's another LHB that plays mostly a corner where
the runway boys of LN, JW, IH, AB also finding time.
Siani, seen enough, from the Reds.
I get your point, really do having a nobody leapfrog a player.
Am I missing anybody? Hampson also is #26 demands no PT.
Re: Who would you rather see?
It’s an absolute travesty to have him on the 26 man and not Church, or even Antico.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2025 22:36 pm Would you rather see Hampson on the team, a proven failure with a sub .200 lifetime average or a journeyman minor leaguer within the organization? Couldn’t agree more. Give the roster spot to a Cards player who has toiled thanklessly in MiLB on Cards teams. No good reason to hire someone from outside the org for that spot.Cranny wrote: ↑13 Aug 2025 23:07 pmIt’s an absolute travesty to have him on the 26 man and not Church, or even Antico.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2025 22:36 pm Would you rather see Hampson on the team, a proven failure with a sub .200 lifetime average or a journeyman minor leaguer within the organization?
