4 XBH's in 68 June PA's.
1 XBH's in 60 July PA's.
3 XBH's in 46 August PA's.
That is 8 XBH's in his last 174 PA's.
Bad.
Really bad.
Worse than most backup, end of the bench, middle infielders.
I warned about this.
When everyone else was badly fooled by 2 days in April, I was not.
Some went so far at to anoint Herrera as the RH middle order bat the team has been searching for.
I knew better.
And said so.
My advice to all?
Keep reading.
Keep learning.
This is discouraging. This is our DH?
He is trending in the wrong direction. This is more than a slump.

Update: Melville again ignores how many incredibly bad predictions he's made.

"Thank goodness Scott has emerged as a budding star." (Last 7 days - .100/.250/.100/.350; last 28 days - .159/.274/.254/.528)

1) Carlson will be a "quality, long term starting MLB;" Later - "I stand by that, and it is inevitable that I will be proven correct." "“I have been spot-on perfect in my analysis of every STL outfielder."
2) "Dakota Hudson is the most irreplaceable player on the Cardinals."
3) Sign Comforto for long, exorbitant contract;
4) Sign Chris Taylor to play 2b (!) for $15/M/yr, 3 years.
5) Sign Holland for 3 years,/$50M;
6) Don't sign Contreras.
7) Donovan is not the answer as a LH hitter;
8. The UniKKorn = You swore he'd be a 40 HR second baseman. He's a DH.
9) Herrera - "don't read too much into his 150 ABs;"
10) Helsley - In May: "Offer 4-year extension, $17M a year"; Nov '24 = "It would be foolish to trade Helsley at this juncture."
11) Mo will trade Arenado - Sept 2023 (didn't happen as predicted, so you decided a non-trade with HOU was a trade); "He is as gone as the dinosaurs. You have my personal guarantee (HA!);" [/b]
12) Palacios will get another look in 2023.

All I can say is thank God “it’s never about me always about the game”!
There are of course only two possibilities:
A) He’s joking and his whole routine is an “act”?
If so....it’s totally childish, not funny, and he desperately needs new material!
B) He’s actually SERIOUS in which case he is in desperate need of psychiatric help.

Easy
Obvious
Correct
