it's only one practice but they had Green at Left tackle in monday's practice plus moving others around. Could be they are not happy with the two guys who have been battling for position there or simply because they want their easily best lineman at the most crucial spot. Could also be at his request since LT's get paid more than any other linemen in NFL. Who knows.
as always we shall see how it all rolls out in game here quickly.
Can't wait till CFB season starts!
offensive line changes?

Re: offensive line changes?
I heard about that move on the radio yesterday and wondered just how that idea came about.
I'm thinking it's at Drinks suggestion but you are right, it could well have come from Green.

Re: offensive line changes?
I'd venture to guess it was definitely at Green's Dad's request.
That helicopter flies low...

How do you know it wasn't his mother?
I mean it's one thing to follow the lives of thousands of 17-18 year olds and their everyday communications on multiple, social media outlets, but you can't possibly do it for all the parents as well

Re: offensive line changes?
Why would his dad request his son be moved from a position where he was voted 2nd team AA to a position he isn't? Also, why would he request it only two weeks from their first game when he could have requested it at anytime over the past year and a half?
The real reason why he was moved is because the guys they tried at LT in camp are not playing as well as the coaches would like.

If true that presents a real problem on the OLine.Wentzville wrote: ↑14 Aug 2025 13:40 pmWhy would his dad request his son be moved from a position where he was voted 2nd team AA to a position he isn't? Posters on this forum aren't going to wait and see if something turns out to be negative.as always we shall see how it all rolls out in game here quickly.
They are going to declare it as such and come up with any reason to validate it.
It's only the positive things that many will stop in its tracks if they see it proceeding.
Re: offensive line changes?
could be nothing but they have strong candidates for guards and should be fine. as always trying to get their best 5 out there.
Re: offensive line changes?
Drink told Paul Finebaum yesterday that he has 5 he likes now. Didn't say which 5 and where they will play. But this gives some clues.

Drinkwitz said Thursday they have may have more definitive answers despite changes in recent days.
“I think we’ve solidified exactly what we’re doing on the O-line positions,” Drinkwitz said Thursday on “The Paul Finebaum Show.”
Drinkwitz hinted at a shake-up to the starting unit Saturday. Junior Cayden Green, who has played all but one career game at left guard, moved to left tackle. Graduate transfer Dominick Giudice, who seemed to be on-track to start at right guard, played left guard. Redshirt junior Curtis Peagler, who played in just three games last season, was at right guard. The only constants from the beginning of fall camp were graduate Connor Tollison at center and graduate Keagan Trost at right tackle.
For three straight days, that group represented MU’s first-team offensive line.
While Drinkwitz named numerous candidates to replace Marcus Bryant as MU’s starting left tackle at the beginning of fall camp, two seemed more likely than the others to win the job: redshirt junior Jayven Richardson and redshirt sophomore transfer Johnny Williams IV. But both players were relegated earlier this week to the second unit.
