There are 15 major league teams with a worse record than the Cardinals. Wonder what those fan bases are saying.

Most of the 15 teams you mention are used to their place in the standings. They don’t think of their team as AAA just a bad MLB team. That would be my guess.

I believe you summed it up. A storied franchise, I wonder what the Red Sox and Yankees fans are saying about their team?

Probably not calling them a AAA team. At least the smart ones wouldn’t be. Both are currently in a WC spot though. Not sure how Yankees fans are taking it right now, they haven’t won a WS title in 15 seasons.

Yes, they certainly are. Even stories franchises have down years. Red Sox had 1 playoff appearance in the last 6 seasons coming into this year. They’ve been last in their division 6 times since the Cardinals last won a WS. Yankees are another story, they’ve been mostly consistent in making the playoffs, albeit they are the Yankees with a huge payroll and an attractive market that attracts superstars, so they should. Cardinals don’t have the payroll size or the kind of market that attracts the best of the best that the Yankees have. Even with their storied franchise history. And that makes what the Cardinals have done all the more special.

I go to a lot of games...the attendance is the lowest I've seen in years...I guess Saggese isn't packing them in!...this is Mo-ran's legacy...

Getting shut out at home by a team 58 games under .500 before mid-August sounds pretty AAA to me.

I wouldn’t call them a Triple A team, but what I would say is they are awful to watch.
I live in central Illinois, and usually make to St. Louis a handful of times to see a game.
Ive not been since 2022, and don’t plan on going anytime soon.
