Libby has frankly looked like [shirt] the last few starts
He’s well beyond his innings pitched for the last 3 years. He’s 25. He’s learning.

Miles was very good and they almost lost.
How about giving the guy some run support?
Especially since their starter has been a bum.
Go Cards!
Gotta go more than 4 to be a starter. And an ERA below 5 would be preferable.
Libbys gassed for the season
Looks that way Scouty.

ERA for the season coming into tonight was under 4.00 which is very respectable.

Rockies ended their streak of 220 games without a shutout on July 23 against the Cardinals.

Rockies will only have to wait 17 games to get another shutout...also against the Cardinals.

I support him, but he's not been very good lately. The lack of run support doesnt help but he only went 4 innings. This team needs starters that can go at least close to 6 innings.

Paul Skenes, age 23, has pitched 148 innings this year.

Matt Liberatore, age 25, has pitched 121 innings this year.

Libby is way beyond his inning totals from the last 2 seasons.

He gets a pass the rest of the year.

No kidding. 1 run for Mikolas last night, and 0 for Liberatore tonight. You would think the Rockies had a bunch of aces on the mound..........

I thought Freeland wasn’t any good. I guess the turning point was Contreras’ DP in the first inning. Freeland just cruising .

Cardinals have a terrible habit of playing to the level of the competition.
Direct indictment of The Marmot's lack of leadership skills.

Fire Brown ?
The team is 14th in batting avg. 16th in runs, and 14th in hits
So middle of all MLB teams.
Considering the team had no elite type talent , that does not seem to justify firing him IMO
