This organization, it's historic place in the game and it's resources shouldn't have to bow to any franchise.

It was a conscious choice to cut payroll.
It was a conscious choice to cut minor league instruction.
It was a conscious choice to send the team president out in public to laugh at fans who were unhappy.

I agree with most of this though not sure this team will be better next year but I have hope for ‘27 for sure if Bloom makes he right moves.hugeCardfan wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025 22:59 pmAgree. So I’m tickled that MO’s replacement is already in place. That a new team of farm management has taken charge. Greater investment is planned on the farm with training facilities and coaching. A renewed focus on International acquisitions. The Cards aren’t complacent.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025 22:36 pmI don’t care about what other teams are mediocre or not very good I only care about the cardinals being mediocre or not very good
I’m betting we are improved next year and the following year. Here’s hoping fan apologetics diminish very soon.
