I think I'll still lobby for you to appoint me Treasurer, Strummer. To handle and safely invest a minimal one time initial PCA Hate Club membership fee of 2 cents. We are all trying to get our 2 cents worth in anyway.

The way he is playing right now, I wouldn't guarantee 30 homeruns let alone 40. Go back and look at those stats prior to July and now. He has really been in a tail spin recently. He had never hit like the start of this season even in the minors. Same with Suzuki, had his career year in homeruns before the all-star break but has come back to his norms the second half.

The way he is playing right now, I wouldn't guarantee 30 homeruns let alone 40. Go back and look at those stats prior to July and now. He has really been in a tail spin recently. He had never hit like the start of this season even in the minors. Same with Suzuki, had his career year in homeruns before the all-star break but has come back to his norms the second half.

He had a .308 avg and .984 OPS in July with 10 doubles and 6 HRs. It was his best OPS of the season for a month. Yes, he’s struggled in August, it happens even to the best players. Suzuki had a “rougher” July (.728 OPS) which would have still put him as one of our best OFers, but has an .864 OPS so far in August.

What a year PCA has had. His catches out of zone have been amazing stuff.
Is it his career year? Idk, he's very young.
Would love to have him playing CF for the Cards.
