I literally can't watch them. I turn the game off, although I do that a lot these days regardless. lol

For baseball the Sunday Night broadcast is a showcase for them and because of that the production wants to be different so you have the interviews trying to give another angle for the fan.

Not a fan of it but I can understand it.

As I’m typing I’m watching the conclusion of the two hour documentary “Catching Hell” about the Bartman incident.

It should not have mattered, the Cubs blew it. Like the 85 Series which Cardinal fans blame the ump .

Denkinger did blow the call and who knows what happens if there is replay.
But you are correct, the Cards were up 3-1 with a chance to wrap it up at home.
And there was a game 7 which the Cards completely folded in.

Don’t forget the foul pop up that Jack Clark botched. Another out there, and the Royals probably don’t score.
