I think we all want to see him succeed as he seems like a great guy and a hard worker. He has such easy, natural power and my goodness, if he's ever able to just get that power stroke going, watch out!12xu wrote: ↑08 Aug 2025 21:22 pmHe looks much more confident and relaxed at the plate, and not stepping in the bucket.cardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑08 Aug 2025 21:20 pmLast 30 games he's batting .286 with a .731 OPS. Every game Yadi has been Cardinal’s coach, Walker has hit a HR.
Think how well Walker would do in 2026 if Yadi was managing every game

Walker hits his first home run since May and he walks down the line and flips his bat?
In the immortal words of Crash Davis...
"Run Dummy!"
When he's is doing that on a regular basis, he can do cartwheels around the bases while farting in the general direction of the opposing dugout for all I care. Until he's doing that on a regular basis, put your head down and run.

..IF the Cards played the rest of the league like they played the Dodgers this year, (4 wins in 6 games played), they would be in 1st place in the division... Well, tonight they are continuing that type of play, taking it to the division 1st place Cubs, like they did to the 1st place Dodgers...

What would happen if a player broke up a no-hitter by doing that?Lightning Rod wrote: ↑08 Aug 2025 21:31 pmHe did that on purpose to give Burly a hit. He knew it was an out anyway.
