Contreras: how many times tagged out on the base paths?
I'm fine with that out on the basepaths. If the throw goes through to home, he's standing on 2nd. If it's cut off, we scored a run. Good baserunning.
...My opinion too... Contreras ensured that the run would score unimpeded. Cubs pitcher Boyd could not risk letting the ball go through to the catcher, and took pretty sure play on Contreras to end the inning, only after the run scored... Cards playing some good baseball tonight... The best game I've seen McGreevy pitch...keeping the Cubs batters off balance. Time to let the Cards BP nail this win down...
Contreras didn't protect anyone. He should've stayed at first to extend the inning. Molina would've walked in there. I'm not sure what game you are watching..

That was the sweetest swing I've seen Walker take. Smooth and effortless. Hope the kid can build on it.

Contreras: how many times tagged out on the base paths?
I'm fine with that out on the basepaths. If the throw goes through to home, he's standing on 2nd. If it's cut off, we scored a run. Good baserunning.
The runner was scoring regardless of the throw being cut off. Dumb baserunning decision.
We all have opinions. I'll take aggressive baserunning with 2 outs.
Pozo was going to score there. Thats not aggressive, that's dumb. Quite possibly could've tacked on another run or 2. Pretty sure they could've used another run or 2. Contreras is quite dumb.
It would have been a runner on 1st with 2 outs. Again, I'm not going to lose sleep over him over rounding 1st base.
Cool. But don't complain of coaches lack of teaching fundamentals when similar boneheaded decisions cost the team a victory.

Walker with a bomb. Saggese and Pages combine for another run.

Brassiere providing the Cubbies no support.
