Vancouver about to sign Thomas Mueller
Mueller declined to sign with Cincinnati but may be heading to the west coast MLS team.
He's only 35 so probably has some left in the tank.
Wonder why he passed on Cincinnati? Did he get a bad bowl of Skyline Chili?

Time for STL City to sign Edin Džeko or Dragan Mihajlović.

GRATTY IS THE SLU MCDADDY!
Re: Vancouver about to sign Thomas Mueller
why would a player like Thomas Mueller ever come play for St. Louis or Cincinnati when he can go to many other nicer cities in North America to play in MLS.
sorry these types of players are not going to want to play for St. Louis .. for one we don't spend money and 2 it's not as appealing as other nicer cities to live and also have better teams
I mean if I'm Thomas Mueller coming to MLS to end my career. St. Louis and Cincinatti are among the last cities I would ever go to play for and relocate too

The same now applies to the Cardinals.

I'm sure Rostroll is very appreciative of YNWA bringing a box of White Castles with him to his domicile under the bridge.

Nope. I hear it was Gold Star or the deal’s off. True story.winonsports wrote: ↑07 Aug 2025 17:57 pmAny word on how that Skyline Chili came into play during negotiations?todd-parker wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 15:26 pm Mueller declined to sign with Cincinnati but may be heading to the west coast MLS team.

Didn’t know this was Food Talk.
Re: Vancouver about to sign Thomas Mueller
Yeah, unfortunately that's the case for probably 3/4 of the teams in the league. Just a select few have a shot at getting a big name player. What pisses me off, though, is the perception that the league helps certain teams (e.g. Miami) and couldn't give two rips about many other teams.YNWA2016 wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 15:23 pm why would a player like Thomas Mueller ever come play for St. Louis or Cincinnati when he can go to many other nicer cities in North America to play in MLS.

I would think a city like Cincy would have plenty of beer and pretzels to keep him happy.butsir01 wrote: ↑07 Aug 2025 21:09 pmNope. I hear it was Gold Star or the deal’s off.
