How much could Wetherholt help the Cardinals offense next season?

Post by Shady »

Bloom needs to get a power hitter in addition to JJ. Top six in the lineup, possibly. Donovan, Wetherholt, Herrera, unknown MOTOB, Contreras, Burleson, Church could also help the offense is they go with him in CF. The position available for the needed MOTOB is somewhere in the outfield.

Your commentary doesn't match your topic.

I'd like to see Wetherholt eventually hitting 2nd or 3rd once he's gotten acclimated to the big leagues.

Bloom needs to get a whole lot more than "a power hitter".

Nitpicker. There's a connection implied in order to help the offense. Also, the starting pitching needs is another story.

I pick nits. Whatevs. You should totes start a thread on starting pitching needs. I really like your observations, especially the ones where you suggest the best young hitter the Cardinals have is overrated.

You’ve done this same thread topic at least five times now in the past month-and-a-half: search.php?keywords=Wetherholt&terms=al ... mit=Search

One player doesn’t make a baseball team. The current roster throughout stinks. They are a losing organization.

Obviously, Wetherholt should be an upgrade. But Bloom needs to realize the need to obtain another quality hitter. And one with some thump. Getting Gray to loosen up on his NTC might help get that. A good topic. No need to make it personal. However, the obsessed will obsess.

Establish the core, then add a big hitter via trade or FAgency.

JJ, Winn, Herrera are all likely part of the core. Probably Burly too.

Donovan could be a core piece, too. Unless he's the prime trade piece to obtain the needed power hitter and/or starting pitching. Could Church be comparable to Donovan as a hitter?

Another Groundhog Day post from Shady, or whoever he is today.
I'm setting up a go fund me site for his anti-psychotic medications.

Why wait that long? Men on 2nd and 3rd and no one scored today is an example of why je team needs a heart transplant. They have few on the team who do. Donovan, whether this was a called play or him, got the run in earlier to take the lead by bunting. Opportunity to get closer after getting two runs down demonstrated to me that they do not care. No Life and ready to catch a plane was my impression in the 5th. They will never win until they get tired of losing. Getting a lead and giving it up immediately is equally sad.

You are a fool, chump. Obviously, you are not capable of adding anything meaningful to the discussion. Crawl back in your hole.

I don't participate in Groundhog Day posts or the rantings of someone who is so desperate for attention that he posts under multiple screen names. There are meds for that that.

"Schizophrenia is a chronic and severe mental disorder that affects a person's ability to think clearly, manage emotions, and behave appropriately in social situations. It's characterized by a disconnection from reality, often involving hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking. While schizophrenia is complex and its exact causes are not fully understood, it is a treatable condition with various therapeutic options available."
