No need to bring Kevin Demoff into the discussion. Bernie used to be a great journalist with sources that made him the inside skinny guy. However, now his source is quoting obscure stats that he cherry picks to back his theories and guests from his echo chamber. He never hesitated to challenge TLR but never squared off personally with the 6’4 220 lb Mike Matheny.riff raff wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 19:19 pmBernie's been on the outside looking in for a long time. Bernie needs to find a good gym, nutritionist and, get a little sun.

Bernie's got his gig on KMOX which is hard to listen to. Others may like it, I don't.
I don't like Wheeler either.
Re: Bernie on JJ…must watch
You really do need to stop talking.
Stick to copy/pasting it’s less embarrassing.
And....here’s some emojis for you which are also your trademarks.

Berny is an idiot who knows even less about baseball than he does about hockey.
If I were a sports writer, I wouldn't boast about spending 30 years covering St. Louis. LOL

His size is beside the point as is your juvenile name calling.

YepRonnie Dobbs wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 17:28 pm I guess I'm a little bit confused. Who is he supposed to be talking to here on this forum? Are you suggesting that this is some kind of call out to certain people here?
I can find probably a dozen or more posts and the last couple days saying exactly what he said from other posters here before this video was uploaded. I think it's pretty general consensus at this point that JJ needs to be called up by September 1st at the latest, but they'd be foolish to lose a year of eligibility by calling him up a few days earlier than they need to in a losing season.

I'd DFA Pages (.200 .245 .319 .564)
Callup Crooks
Go w/him & Pozo the rest of the season.
ClassicO wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 10:20 am
This. Wait for August 14 so we don't lose a year of service for Crooks.

I knew that date was coming up (that's also when you call JJW up too) but didn't know the exact date.

As a rule, I don't like to call people names, but my own name used to be Red Bird. That's right. I'm the original, dyed in the wool, original Red Bird. It became Red Bird Classic because of that fat A Hole. So for Bernie I make an exception.
