the Dodgers are in a tight division race…
Cards have a responsibility to play their best guys…
I will leave it to others to decide if burleson is one of their best guys..
The Cardinals have a responsibility to do what is best for the Cardinals.
Your Astros lost 416 games in 4 years during their tank and re-build. Is it your assertion the Astros 'played their best guys' every night? Of course they didn't. They did what was best for their organization.
They had no “best guys”…
I can remember when the cards were in a division race…..the other division leader was playing I believe the brewers…..the brewers rested a couple of starters and this very board went ballistic….
The cards have a lot of meaningless games when they can play Gorman and whatever stiff they have….
These games against the dodgers are important …..to the dodgers and padres…it would be nice if the cards respected that…
You try to come off as an unbiased 3rd party observer but your posting history belies your hypocrisy.
Over the course of four seasons, the Astros certainly had opportunities to field better teams but they chose to follow their tank and re-build plan instead. Don't pretend otherwise.
The Cardinals are under no obligation to "respect" what the wants and needs of the Dodgers, Padres or any other team. Their only obligation is to their own organization.

I have about 30 to 40 minutes left in me. Gotta get up and go to work in the morning. East Prairie, MO Post Office. James Naile country! Lol! I have to watch at least 3 innings but I can't stay up and watch it all. (drat) Donnie!!!
Pretty cool! Those small town post offices are the last bastion of federal honesty. I never trusted the big places post offices. Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, ST. Louis, Chicago, are places that I had much trouble getting stuff to the shipping point. Lost the most inventory in Houston for some reason. Went to FEDEX and that solved the problem.

I get it. USPS has been failing horribly. Can't get anyone to work and it's been bad for a few years now. I wouldn't blame anyone for going FED EX or UPS. It's the big city processing plants that are the biggest problem. We deal what we get around here in Southeast Missouri but we can't deliver what doesnt get to us.

Yep. The small town PO is not the problem. The big processing places operate about as efficiently as the Cards offense.
I am a native of Southeast Missouri, graduated three times from SEMO and coached and taught in Missouri before getting into administration. Always loved the basketball played in the bootheel.

Basketball in the Bootheel is huge. Charleston, Scott County Central and Sikeston as of late. Boys can Ball around here, for sure.
