Everyone is speculating about Bloom and Marmol,but if Bloom hires a GM, wouldn't that be his decision about hiring/ firing the manager?

You very well could be right if that is one of the reponsibilities designated to him . The guess is that Rob Cerfolio would be the GM promotion from Asst GM . It all depends if Bloom sees himself as the POBO/GM . In many orgnizations, the POBO title hires and fires the managers.
