Cardinals announce hilariously tone-deaf pricing change for 2026 https://share.google/jwcOq5vpokXuc7bv9
So, the wheels came off in 2023. OK, fine you miscalculated dramatically. It happens.
2024 should have been a rebuild, not make a half-[ashed] effort to improve 15-20 games. As it was, it took a career year from Helsley to be competitive and above .500. They still never were fully in it. Wasted 1 year one of rebuild.
Get what you can for Arenado and Fedde before the season and audition young pitchers in Fedde's spot, falling back on a castoff if they fail. Consider trading Noot as he isnt a difference-maker. Another wasted rebuild year.
Based on what they've said, does anyone expect next year to be competitive? This year was always going to be a get a playoff spot if a lot went right and even less a chance at a playoff run type year. So why did they hedge?
Dunno if anyone saw this

Damnit. Redbird Rant click bait. I fell for it.
I'll wait for a credible source. When this is proved false we'll accept your humblest apology. If true, you scooped everybody.

Okay, let me ask a "credible" question. How does anyone know what kind of season 2026 will be until we see what kind of moves Bloom makes in the off season?
