Maybe with Bloom taking more control over the Minor League development side of things, the draft picks will be under his command this year....Mo had a style where the Cards were always the first in assigning draft picks to their 1st league, first in debuts. But this rarely meant the player debuted in High A....players were always kept close to the vest at Roger Dean....IE : JJ Wetherholt, when his nearly everyone one of his offensive peers from the 1st round of 2024 draft started High A, and 1 case started AA.

This draft assignment has been slow for the Cardinals, a few other organizations have debuted their newest draft picks...Twins and Braves, that I've seen.

So...maybe, just maybe we could have a Peoria debut or two? Maybe the 3rd kid? Jake Gurevitch?
