Gorman needs to play every day along with Walker.
Need to get a read on them both heading to the offseason.

What do you think you’ll learn from either of those guys that you don’t already know? They are more of the same. We’ve seen it all before, multiple times. Are you ever thrilled when you see their name on the line up card? Maybe you just say ”oh hell no, more of this?”. It really is maddening to see so many get so many chances and then for us to have so little to show for it. They call up Walker and then send him down because he hits too many ground balls? They didn’t know that while he was in the minors?

I understand he doesn't want to leave and is going to invoke his no trade clause --- but what is to stop the cardinals from saying 'ok fine' you can stay but we want to see what we have in JJW and are going to bring him up and play him at 3rd. So if you invoke your ntc you will become a bench piece for the rest of this season. Anyone think this might cause him to reconsider? Does anyone think DeWitt/Moronzelak have the brass to make such a move?

He and Gray are terrible players to be around kids. They play for pay checks, not to win.

Both should of been telling stl to find them a team who can win it all, and get a deal done. But neither cares about winning, they are happy with the way its going and cashing those pay checks.

The difference between MLB and the NFL is the NFL would make that move to bench an old quarterback in favor of an up-and-coming QB. It seems in the Majors the salary plays.

Heck NO to this kind of thinking. You talk as if the players run the show. They don't.

It's not about the player's feelings, it's about production.

Period.

Players not producing need to sit and earn their way back into the lineup no matter how popular they are among the team.
