I’m not sure why people keep mentioning Nolan Arenado being traded. It’s not going to happen. He is not waiving his no trade he is staying in STL. Not sure why people keep thinking that’s even a possibility

Did someone say Noot was comparable to Kwan? Seriously?

1. Kwan actually plays a full season.
2. Kwan is a 10x better defender.
3. Kwan puts the ball in play on a much more consistent basis.

There is very little comparison other than they both play OF, they are both Asian, and they both bat from the left side of the plate.

I guess they might want Donovan and Burleson in the lineup next season, but Nootbaar likely has little to no market from others. Also might get more in the off season for the first two.

Kwan can actually stay on the field and is a gold glover. No way he and Noot are considered on par in the market.

And there's the problem. Nootbaar is not a core piece. Even at his height, he was always going to be a supporting piece. Like a Reggie Sanders. Reggie was always a nice player to have. But you certainly never built a team around him.

I think Burly and Donnie are also "nice" players. But you absolutely do not build around them. They're the guys who you bring in to protect THE guys.

I have had Kwan in fantasy and he’s always hurt. I am saying their advanced stats including WAR are very comparable
