Orioles as trade partner

Post by swatski »

They need relief pitching and their farm system is loaded. They could also use a Noot bar. Lol

Why does a last place team need RP rentals?

lol, no kidding. Orioles have been trading away RP, not trading for it.

their Farm System "Was" loaded...2 years ago. Now all they have is Samuel Basallo, #9 Catching prospect. They won't be letting go of him.

Their 2025 draft was incredible, no doubt...but I don't think the pundits will put any of them in the Top 100...not yet. Irish has a great bat, but too many knocks on the defensive limitations. Aloy is possibly a good bat, but he won't rank higher than any HS SS taken before him. Bodine may get some Top 100 or 150 love b/c of his catching and hitting skills, no power though. They have a lot of work to do, imo to get back to half of what they had.

But...they're far removed from their powerhouse farm system from 2023.
