He was out but not enough to overturn. Stupid play to waste your challenge on tbh but hey, pretty used to it by now. lmao

And teams need to get more than 1 challenge. That's absurd. Almost as absurd as Nado continuing to drop his f'n trade value.

What a clown show.

And inside too.
I don’t blame Sonny. The guy swung at a very low pitch.
He golfed it out.
Meatballs center cut got homers is one thing.. not a pitch that the ump would never call a strike.
Left hand batters often can go down and golf a 79 mph curve ball from a RHP for distance, especially when Gray threw him the same pitch in the same location on the previous pitch. Not a very good pitch selection in that situation.
Well, the catcher is calling the pitches and location.
So if he calls the same two in a row and second one is hit out, that is not on the pitcher… it’s Pages !

Yeah, it's not like the hitter has anything to do with it
Or the pitcher can shake him off

It's one thing to be a great defensive catcher and hit .200, but to be mediocre and hit like that? There's got to be a better alternative.

Gray is a 5 Inning pitcher. He is not one that goes deep.

Gray has one complete game shutout this year in his other 20 games pitched he has a 4.70 ERA and averaged 5 1/3 IP?

They're talking about Troy Johnston a lot on the Miami broadcast. The guy was a beast at AAA in 2023 but kind of fell off the map last season even though he had a full season of ABs. Wonder what happened it took until 28 to get call-up.
