Today it was announced that Ortiz is under investigation for gambling, and will be on paid leave until after the ASB.

Goodman (undrafted) - 123 PA, .294 BA, .830 OPS, 5 HR, 14 R, 21 RBI, 1 SB

So Dirty still appears to be winning that trade.

Nope I still have McLain and he's active. .296 BA .779 OPS 98 AB 16RS 2 HR 9 RBI and 2 SB not great but the BA has helped. Trading Altuve allowed me to pick up Gorman 101 AB 18 RS 7 HR 18 RBI 1 SB .238 BA .800 OPS. Not too bad, give him 500 AB and that works out to 35 HR and 90 RBI

The prize for me was and is Abbott 8 GS 50.2 Inn 4 Wins 37 K 1.78 ERA 1.01 WHIP 5 QS

Nope I still have McLain and he's active. .296 BA .779 OPS 98 AB 16RS 2 HR 9 RBI and 2 SB not great but the BA has helped. Trading Altuve allowed me to pick up Gorman 101 AB 18 RS 7 HR 18 RBI 1 SB .238 BA .800 OPS. Not too bad, give him 500 AB and that works out to 35 HR and 90 RBI

Ya, Abbott’s been very good. I was high on him after his rookie year, but lost the faith last year. Regret dropping him… more so after he was traded for Altuve.

Yes, Munoz didn't work out quite as well as I hoped, but he's given me some saves at least.

BTW - the average amount of change for teams from June to July was ~11 pts. From July to August it is down to ~4.5 pts. So the standings are, as expected, getting much more locked in with two months to go.
