Prostate cancer is a (A female canine animal, especially a dog). Had surgery to have mine removed after a cancer diagnosis. Almost waited too late as it had spread to the margins but been clean for four years this Spring. Doctor said after next year I should be in the clear as it is rare for it to show up after 5 years. Get nervous when it comes time to do the bloodwork so hopefully just one more to go.

After baseball I played high level softball for decades. I played second then. My nickname was Rhyno.

Yes Sandberg was a stud. Might have been the first second baseman with that power.

Last night, I said to a few Cubs fan friends, Ozzie and Ryne should've grown old together.

I'm happy that he got a ring in 2016 and got to celebrate.
