Other news:Yankees dilemma
When Judge returns he will have to DH due to flexor strain which means Stanton will have to play the field. Having watched the Yankees this year quite a bit, any of the current Molina brothers could out run him. The guy looks as if running in slow motion. Going to be quite the site to see him play the field.

Re: Other news:Yankees dilemma
Maybe they will play him in right at home and then leftfields that are smaller on the road.

He's an astounding 23.9 in sprint speed (Pozo is the Cards slowest at 24.7). He's -20 in baserunning runs per Statcast and -18 in extra bases taken.

Plus he missed the first part of the year with elbow problems, I doubt if he has even thrown a baseball this year.ClassicO wrote: ↑28 Jul 2025 10:37 amWatch him running all out to try to score. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-RHx0oUVRyQkyace wrote: ↑28 Jul 2025 09:29 amYes as far as movement but he still smokes the ball when making contact.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑28 Jul 2025 09:03 amhas Stanton fallen that far??kyace wrote: ↑28 Jul 2025 09:00 am When Judge returns he will have to DH due to flexor strain which means Stanton will have to play the field. He can stand there and catch throws if online and he doesn’t have bend or stretch.
