Hahaha. I do love this interaction. It took me a while to accept a snuggle-based nickname, but the idea of other fanbases hating the name appeals to me.theograce wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 11:43 amNope my goal is a place of acceptance. Oh man they are going to hate it. Other players will too. I hate it and I’m on his side.Army's Mom wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 13:56 pmHahaha. I do love this interaction. What's sad is I fear Bolduc's was better. Gotta give to get, I guess, but Boldy looked to have it all.STL fan in MN wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 11:15 am Don’t want to put too much pressure on the kid but he probably has the best shot on the team. Or at least has the potential to. It’s a heck of a shot. He just needs to prove it in the NHL now. And if he sticks on a line with Thomas, he’s going to get plenty of opportunities this season.
I hope Jimmy's not put under any pressure of the comparison if he struggles and Bolduc shines early on.

What's funny is I've heard an atomic wedgie called a "snuggy" before.STL fan in MN wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 11:20 am Snuggerud himself even refers to himself as Snuggy. What Bolduc showed/did better was get to the slot/find soft areas. It reminded me of how Hull did that…he’s not Hull, but some guys are just able to do that better than others. Getting positions for the shot and increasing percentages/danger is half the battle. We will see if that continues.TBone wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 14:07 pmWhat's sad is I fear Bolduc's was better. Snuggerud will/should get more atoi though. Monty seems to like hm a lot. His ice time in the playoffs shocked me

If he is able to but on some muscle this summer, he is going to breakout IMO.

Blues are missing on a big cross-branding opportunity.

Snuggerud’s shot is better. Bolduc’s was good for sure though. Dvorsky and Carbonneau’s are about on par with Bolduc’s. We’ve drafted a lot of players lately where their shot is really really high end.TBone wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 14:07 pmWhat's sad is I fear Bolduc's was better. We need some sort of chant WHILE doing the PP dance
Snuggy, wuggy, buggy tuggy
Snuggy, wuggy, buggy tuggy
Snuggy, wuggy, buggy tuggy
Snuggy, wuggy, buggy tuggy
It will be epic …

If that is supposed to be funny, it isn't. It is just another of your famous, humorless, ignorant, world-class faceplants.

"Beedy Boi sucks" chant.

Snugs seems a safe, hockey fit, won't get made fun of with that.
I can see it - Schenner: "fortunately Snugs was there to put in the rebound..."
