I’ll say this for Mikolas, there is no in between with him.
He is either awful or very solid.
No middle ground.
Keep it rolling. Deadline will be super interesting.

...yeah, sweeping 4 is harder than winning just 3, but it can be done... Will be impressive if they do it...

...There are a few posters in CT that really don't want that to happen... Makes you wonder...

Agree 82 - trying to be funny but didn’t use the right emoji.
The funny thing is on paper this game looked like a sure win for the Pads with MM vs Pivetta.

What is puzzling is how poorly they played in CO vs how well they’ve played so far at home.

Doesn’t make ME wonder. There are plenty of reasons all over this board explaining why it makes sense. Me? I think it’d sure be nice to have an additional player or two next ST good enough to fight for a job that we got solely because we decided to sell this month.

Who saw that coming!! Mikolas walking a tight rope all night and the Cardinals scraped together just enough offense to make it work. Great job by the bullpen.

...and Oli had no hesitation in getting Mikolas out of there after a leadoff hit in the 6th... Possibly prevented some bad things happening there...

He has had some of the worst starts in recent Cardinal memory.
Sadly...when he does pitch well we routinely don’t score.

Yeah and how many posters on here want to trade them away for unproven talent. Why not sign Maton and extend JoJo?
