So if the blues are in last place and selling vets by November that would be a successful season? And if they’re in first place in the central that would be an unsuccessful season?a smell of green grass wrote: ↑25 Jul 2025 12:43 pmMy position is that all teams have at least 1 TOP5 pick in recent history--except the Blues. They need one. We are not "locked and loaded" as many suggest. The Blues are missing key ingredients that can only be acquired via a TOP5 pick. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑25 Jul 2025 11:46 amIs your position that the blues should be trying to tank this upcoming season?a smell of green grass wrote: ↑25 Jul 2025 11:04 am See link below for a sneak-peak at Army's potential Christmas Present to ASOGG. Army will find out in November how big the present will be.
Not that I'm going to wish for disaster or anything, but I will be checking under the bed, on the top shelf of the closet, and all the good hiding places periodically. It's been a very long time since I received a TOP5.

If anyone finds my present before me, please let me know immediately.
As far as how to get one, no team "tanks" on purpose. Losing just happens for the most part. If the Blues are bombing by November, I encourage a selloff of the older assets as the column states. At that point, we need to play for the future, not limp into the playoffs.

Since you’re going with the Christmas theme, I think you belong on the Island of Misfit Toysa smell of green grass wrote: ↑25 Jul 2025 13:24 pmIn the last 10 years, there have been 50 picks.
