This Blues rising star continues to amaze in summer hockey league

If you are addicted to the game of Hockey, there is a good chance you have heard of the wildly popular summer league that features a ton of NHL stars and rising prospects. The Da Beauty League is a huge tournament held in Minnesota every summer, and they compete for the John Scott Cup.

This year, one St. Louis Blues player has made an immediate splash in the tournament. This is a great sign for the 2025-26 season, even though this league is made up like a fun scrimmage.

Jimmy Snuggerud, who is a good possibility for the top line for the Blues next season, made a highlight-reel play in the Da Beauty League. This is his third-straight appearance in this league, and he has played well throughout. It is definitely some nice practice against some NHLers.

I hope this whole buzz and article isn't because of that goal in the X clip, because I am trying to figure out what makes it so buzzworthy

How very unremarkable.

It is the middle of summer....counting down the days.

Welcome to summer hockey “journalism”. Where an NHL ripping a wrister in a pick-up game if somehow newsworthy.

I saw part of a game between Dallas and Minnesota on TV I believe last night and couldn't figure out what it was, what kind of a league it was. There wasn't much defense, but the players appeared more skilled than a minor league team. Some connection?

Chicago's top prospect on D is there too - he played with Jimmy Nuggs at Minnesota.
