Over his last 18 games (80 PA) in low-A ball, the 18 year old is hitting .267/.438/.500. He’(poop) 6 doubles, 1 triple, 2 HRs, and has walked 18 times to 9 strikeouts.

That’s fantastic he started off slow which was to be expected after the call up but it didn’t take long for him to get it going again. I especially like the high walks low strike outs

I love when a catcher carries over their knowledge of the strikezone to the batter's box

C. Bloom is going to have great trade chips among all the catchers in the system'.

Let's hope he identifies the right one to keep.

Yes, Catcher is one of the premium positions in baseball. (catcher , SS, and some include CF )
Sure hope Bloom selects the right Catcher to remain and promote to the majors.

Who do you think it will be?

Right now I'm thinking it's Bernal (AA: 11 Hr/.280 .352 .459 .811) if he keeps progressing.

Not RamFan, but think Bernal will be the catcher of future as he is the batter that can hit switch and supposedly an above average defensive catcher. I think Rodriguez is one of our future possible right hand hitting power hitters at either dh or 1b (hopefully) but the power and plate discipline is intriguing. I think Pages is a good backup or trade bait if someone wants a caller and same with Crooks. Like that we have options at this position for sure.

Need more than one. So… need to identify which ones to keep.
