Once again, Sunk Costs

Once again. Mikolas and Fedde shouldn’t make another start. Getting zero return beats playing this deadman’s hand. If whoever gets a shot, even if they give us next to nothing it beats less than nothing from hacks getting drilled every five days and blocking the future. Young kids at their worst couldn’t do worse. They’d learn and we’ll see what we’ve got. And they’ll learn. MM’s last 7 starts gave an ERA of 7.32. And that’s including one good one. That’s how bad he’s been. The contract should no longer play. Sunk costs from bad contracts that limit the future and alienate the fan base, diminishes assets and savages revenue streams. How can the only baseball people that don’t accept this reality are running this team? Any action that tskes them out of the rotation, regardless of return, makes us immediately better.
