Biggest Concerns to Start the Season
Biggest Concerns to Start the Season:
A. The Jan 2025 Blues return to start the season. See Army's gasket blow before the 4 Nations Break for the state of the team.
B. Snuggerud not ready for the NHL
C. Mailloux not ready for the NHL
D. The Blues are the Champions of the Distraction Cup, the Winter Classic. This year, the distraction is the Olympics, and Army is a ringleader.
E. Holloway/Broberg injury impact carries into the season
F. Schenn and Sunny are 1 year older
G. Other
My vote is A.

There is no Four Nations tournament this season. There IS a break for the Olympics in 2026. The rest of your post is just trolling bull[shirt].

I was referring to the 4 nations break in 2025. That tells you what the Jan 2025 team looked like.Aesa wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 21:36 pmWell, you blew it with your choice and negativity.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 21:18 pm Biggest Concerns to Start the Season:

Re: Biggest Concerns to Start the Season
Now that they lost Bolduc my greatest concern is if the team is ok.... emotionally??? You don't lose leadership like that and not notice a change in the room. I figure they will tank every game this season to secure a better chance at a top 5 draft pick so they can officially start a proper rebuild next season. What other choice do they have? They traded Bolduc, man! It's over! Let's Go Lose!
Re: Biggest Concerns to Start the Season
Of the list, my biggest concerns are Holloway/Broberg...mainly Holloway. The fellow had surgery. Do we even know what type injury it was. What if it affects his speed? The beauty of Holloway is how he befriended Kyrou, and how they practiced and played together; like a Hull and Oates. Wouldn't that be wonderful if we had a dynamic duo to drive the offense.
I still don't trust Buchnevich . Agree the Schenn/Sunny aging shows often enough, but we need a fully charges, aggressive-scoring- Holloway, as we saw how much he was missed in the playoffs

Agree on Holloway injury and his impact. It is odd and concerning that we dont hear much about it.Russdv14 wrote: ↑21 Jul 2025 00:25 am Of the list, my biggest concerns are Holloway/Broberg...mainly Holloway. The fellow had surgery. C
Army and the schnoz will have egg on they're face if this one proves to be true and we don't really have any depth at that position. If Mailloux can't cut it, are we playing Kessel on the 3rd pairing or bringing in an old vet?

So how many Blues will play on the Olympics, and not get rest, because Armstrong is the manager of Canada?Aesa wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 21:36 pmWell, you blew it with your choice and negativity.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 21:18 pm Biggest Concerns to Start the Season:

Re: Biggest Concerns to Start the Season
And to make things worse... If Mailloux can't stay on the roster, is his career over? He's not a young prospect, and we may learn that he is a bust completely.
Trading Bolduc for a Bust is not going to go well among BluesTalkers.
Re: Biggest Concerns to Start the Season
How many playoff games they'll have to win for smelly to promise to go away and then come back 2 days later

I concur, Glow Stick has done it again! OP - do you have a daily quota of shat posting on this site? I think the message boards biggest concern is dealing with these never-ending debbie downer posts.

My mother in law used to worry about everything, and she would blow the imaginary impact way out of proportion for things that almost never came to fruition. She was not easy to be around. She eventually died.
