Re: Fire Oli
If only we had Terry Francona, Miles Mikolas, Erik Fedde, and Andre Pallante would be Cy Young candidates.
Also, Terry Francona can't even get his current team to be better than the Cardinals.

I looked again. Saw exactly the same thing. The Reds and Cardinals will have the same record after today. So how is it that the amazing manager Terry Francona can't get his team to be better than Oli has his team?riff raff wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 16:10 pmYou better look againcardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 16:08 pmIf only we had Terry Francona, Miles Mikolas, Erik Fedde, and Andre Pallante would be Cy Young candidates.

Fans love to give too much credit to managers for wins and too much blame on managers for losing. Yeah, TLR was a great manager, but look at those teams. Pujols, Edmonds, Rolen. What player on this current team comes even close to any of those 3? That's 2 and what should be 3 hall of fame players in the middle of the lineup.
The lack of talent on this team is sickening. You play teams like the Cubs and see the talent up and down the lineup and then you look at our lineup and it's just night and day.
That being said, I do hope Oli is gone after this season and someone new is brought in to start fresh for the Bloom era.
Re: Fire Oli
It didn’t take this for me…..I’ve known he’s been a little idiot for years
But if you can somehow defend throwing Gray ONCE and Miles/Fedde FOUR times when we were still in it and played the Cubbies those 2 series
You should apply for employment under BDW

The clown is an arrogant stiff who brings nothing positive to the table.
You could dress one of us from CT in a Fredbird Costume and pretty much provide the same thing.
Like others have said....the culture needs to change.

Do these fools think he said to MM go out and throw homers today? Misplaced anger.desertrat23 wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 15:39 pmDoes he not have them ready to play, or is it just a garbage roster?

It can’t be defended. It’s also likely not his call.

However....HOW they approach each game can come in large part from leadership.
And the arrogant moron in the dugout sets an example that allows mental mistakes and poor fundamentals.
Awful base running across the board and lack of plate discipline are at the forefront.
Couple that with being a weasel and how does your team respond???
