Or 8 in the 9th.
I'll accept that, too.
Changed my mind. That won't be good enough.
More likely a quick 1,2,3 9th and back to the hotel. Maybe they will actually come to play tomorrow?

This is beyond physical talent.
*Swept in Pittsburgh by a last place team. And they were not even competitive.
*They rallied to take one in Chicago but the other two were blowouts.
*Lose 2 of 3 to the mediocre Braves at home.
*Looking like a sweep against the also mediocre D’backs?

And to come out of the break listless and without ANY focus is inexcusable.
This team appears to have mentally and emotionally mailed it in.
Stay tuned!
... and no one's job is more secure than Oli's!
The players are far and away more to blame.
But....in a tight spot Oli brings absolutely nothing positive to the team.

I hope Hampson has some experience in construction work.

And handling it like the DH he is. If he could hit. But you know…

Cost Woodford a 3 inning save. What the hell?

Actually, I think their manager just robbed Woodford of a 3 inning save.

That’s the problem? Really? What do you base that on?
It’s a joke when Sonny threw a shut out some posters were slobbering all over pages saying what a great game he called and how great of a catcher he is so its funny to me that those same posters don’t give him credit for bad games but just the good games
We'll always have Cleveland.

That lump of an ump loved the low strikes, and the high ones. Did not seem to bother the snakes.

Gray sure is good at pulling up his britches. I guess he was expecting a flood of runs. It does that about a million times a game.

And the Cardinals were handed a huge gift in this series with Marte being put on leave. And Arizona still piles up the runs.
