It's money and I get it. I never understood why they had radio and tv productions. Now, we can argue they got rid of the wrong one. It's hard to argue setting up everything from one production team.

Pretty simple. It’s cheaper to pay two announcers than four.

Echo this opinion. I listen to other broadcast teams on NHL radio on occasion. Most of them are hard to listen to/hard to follow. Then with the Blues broadcast, it seems like its a relief [vs others] to be able to enjoy the flow of the game. I will throw a bone to the Toronto radio play by play guy. (Joe Bowen? an olde timer). He is real good.

Agree. Joe Bowen on the Leafs broadcasts is really good. I listened to him on SiriusXM during the recent playoffs.
