Coldplay

Post by George Zipp »

If we as a human race have learned anything this week it is this: If you are the CEO of a company and you have a sidepiece that is your director of HR, don't take her to a concert at a football stadium with a Jumbotron and then when you get randomly selected for the kiss cam and end up on screen, don't duck and cover like someone is napalming the luxury box you are dancing in with said side piece. If you do this, you will not only get called out by Chris Martin you will end up the laughingstock of the entire internet for days. You will also lose 1/2 your net worth in a divorce that is coming. You also shouldn't issue a really awfully written apology crafted by your really awful PR team in which you don't apologize and claim your right to privacy and consent at a concert in a football stadium.

TLDR: Don't go see Coldplay, they suck.

God, how humiliating. Imagine the whole world knowing you're a Coldplay fan.

I heard his wife filed for divorce the next day. Can't say I blame her.

Perhaps it was a clever publicity stunt. I had never heard of Astronomer, an AI company. Now I have, as have a few million more folks.

What is even more bizarre is the fact that there are many out there who are blaming Coldplay!

Here's a hint ... if you're going to have an affair, do it the old fashioned way. Find a seedy hotel somewhere.

Ahhhh... the Coral Court- and across the road, an even seedier (and cheaper) motel that was 12 bucks for four hours in the mid-late 1970s. The check in was a drive-through and the lady that worked nights would greet me by name as I rolled up...

I get around..."

hheheh

In a pinch, they helped pay for the four hours.
Those were the days. Women's Liberation could be a frantic thing, and it was awesome.
