What is our new rotation order?

Post by Carp4Cy »

Wanting to see the game next Tuesday or Wed in Denver - any idea who will be starting Tuesday? I assume Wed will be whoever starts tonight because we are guaranteed no rainouts in AZ this weekend. But why is MLB showing Pallante tonight?

Normally the top of the rotation would start it off. Gray is on normal rest. So I guess it depends if they want to give him an extra day or two.

Gray
Liberatore
Pallante
Mikolas
Fedde

This should be their order. But who knows?

Pallante going today
Gray tomorrow
Mikolas Sunday

Monday/Tuesday TBD right now.

So all we know is the first 3.

Interesting and confusing why Liberatore isn't listed at all. :?

It's fine. They play a couple of weeks agains mostly sub-500 teams besides the Padres before the deadline.

More of Mikolas, Fedde and Pallante is fine. Otherwise Mo will get duped into buying at the deadline, rather than clearly being a seller.

The right move going forward is Sell at the deadline. They'll figure it out right after the deadline when they go to California and then come back and face the Cubs.

Actually pitching Gray Saturday makes sense when you look at the schedule:
*He pitched Sunday so an extra day of rest.
*Pitching him Saturday puts him in line to open the Padres series at home.

Personally I think we need Gray more vs the Padres than the Rockies.

Yup those three are the starter I will be seeing over the next three days here in AZ. Kinda bummed with Mikolas and not Liberatore .... but it is what it is ... hopefully I will get to see the good versions of Pallante, Gray, and Mikolas as well. I would love to see some W's!!

So you're coming out of a long all-star break and A. Pallante is your choice to open?

Yet more proof Oli isn't a qualified major league manager.

He has no clue how to set a batting order or align his starting pitching.

PLEASE FIRE him as your first move C. Bloom!
