A good amount of movement here. Unfortunately several pitchers stock is dropping - Hence, Matthews, McGreevy, Roby.
Davis and Hjerpe doesn't even register - unfortunate 1st round picks
Rank Name Position Previous rank
1. J.J. Wetherholt SS 1
2. Liam Doyle LHP 2025 draft
3. Tink Hence RHP 2
4. Rainiel Rodriguez C 6
5. Quinn Mathews LHP 3
6. Jimmy Crooks C 5
7. Leonardo Bernal C 4
8. Yairo Padilla SS 9
9. Chen-Wei Lin RHP NR
10. Michael McGreevy RHP 7
ESPN is terrible for all things MLB.
Has been for years
As others have noted, Hence at #3 is nonsense.
As is NcGreevy at #10.
Agree. ESPN hasn't been a worthy sports source in over a decade. Shame, really!
Also, who cares where someone ranks a prospect. People, including the Cardinals, need to worry less about prospect ranking/status and more about actual production.
Personally, I couldn’t care less how many prospects we can collect. What I'd really like? To have a good MLB team to root for again that's serious about competing!!
Indeed.
First time I saw Donovan in ST he was still a minor league player and was not a highly touted prospect.
Watched him play one full game,
I posted that he would beat every other STL prospect to MLB and would prove to be the best of the bunch.
I was right.
Rankings don't matter all that much.

No [shirt] man. Blows my mind how many love lottery tickets more than real currency…an actual winning major league team. When did we all become many prospect geeks and BDW money savers?
