Not to feed the trolls but just posting a proposed trade from a Pitt fan board that I found interesting -- Kyrou for Erik Karllson (with Penguins retaining max), Rutger McGroaty and a Second Rounder. Despite the obvious fence-mending with Holloway, an interesting deal that I would not immediately say no to.

I say No way….
And Pittsburgh? You know Kyrou would say “Hell No!” to that idea.

He def had power because he could say who he’d sign with but I’ve seen nothing that supports any claim that he only wanted Florida or even preferred it. The Panthers were on his list as were the Blues and Carolina. These were the teams he said he’d sign with, thereby getting CGY top return. The Panthers made the offer CGY liked best. MT signed accordingly.

Beyond that is pure speculation unless, again, you have sources that aren’t public.

Please point me to people in the know saying anything more. I genuinely mean that bc I’m very interested in this particular trade.
